[Castries, St. Lucia] Samson Etienne and Crysta Alexander are the new faces of the St. Lucia Yellow Pages/ Global Directories upcoming “Get Discovered” marketing campaign.
The young gentleman and lady were selected from a slew of entrants in the “Get Discovered” online competition run on Facebook earlier this year, which invited professional and aspiring models to submit a headshot along with a full body shot for a chance to be featured in the new and exciting campaign.
Interested persons were asked to visit www.facebook.com/StluciaYellowPages to submit their photos, as well as to vote for their favourite model. At the end of the contest the model with the most votes, Sanjani Prospere, was chosen as the peoples’ choice winner, taking home a 16GB iPod Nano and a $25 iTunes card.
After reviewing all of the entries, Samson and Crysta were selected, by a judging panel, as the overall winners of the search and the models to be featured in the upcoming campaign. Surprised, but quite elated about being chosen, both winners indicated they were encouraged by friends and family to enter the competition.
Recently, both Samson and Crysta along with other finalists, participated in a photo shoot for the “Get Discovered” campaign which is expected to be launched in St. Lucia very soon. In addition to being chosen as the faces of the campaign, the two winners each took home US$600, a 16GB iPod Nano and a $50 iTunes card.
